Yoga at Pixieland
Did you know at Pixieland we teach the children yoga twice a week? Children derive enormous benefits from yoga.
Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. It can help their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. The children learn in a fun way by imitating trees, animals and lots more, using their imagination to move into these poses, creating shapes and imitations using their arms, legs and body.
We will be giving ideas to work with your children further at home to do as a family. We can email parents yoga moves that we do at nursery to help carry this on at home.
